Job summary

DMG Education Ltd invites applications for a Secondary School Maths Teacher based in Southampton, Hampshire. This full-time, permanent role starts January 2027 (or sooner if available) with a competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• Earned a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
• Previous experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the subject and current curriculum requirements.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and encourage students.
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of every student.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging Maths classes for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Help students succeed and foster a love of mathematics and problem-solving.
• Contribute to the development of the Maths department and wider school community.
• Participate in extracurricular opportunities, such as math clubs and competitions.
