Job summary

Greenhill is hiring an Associate in London for its Private Capital Advisory team. The role supports origination and execution of LP-led and GP-led transactions, including portfolio sales and continuation vehicles.

You will work with senior bankers to deliver strategic advice and successful outcomes for institutional investors and fund sponsors. The position involves due diligence, financial modelling, client materials, investor outreach and cross-team coordination across Mizuho | Greenhill’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a leading university.
• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, secondary advisory, private equity, or related fields.
• Demonstrated interest in LP-led and GP-led transactions.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation methodologies and corporate finance principles.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Leadership potential and mentoring junior team members.
• Fluency in an additional European language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of transaction execution across secondary transactions including due diligence and financial modelling.
• Develop and review client materials and information memoranda.
• Coordinate investor outreach and due diligence processes.
• Assist with client meetings, management presentations and investor discussions.
• Help drive execution through signing and closing, coordinating workstreams across clients and advisers.
• Conduct market and industry research to support business development.
