Job summary

Veritas Education are seeking a Qualified Secondary Teacher to cover KS3/KS4 across multiple Wakefield secondary schools on a long-term basis. You will design engaging lessons aligned to the National Curriculum and create an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all pupils.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, with strong classroom management, excellent communication, and a proactive, adaptable approach to working with students, staff and parents.

Qualifications

• You must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous experience is desirable but not essential.
• You can demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
• Excellent communication to be able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Have a proactive, positive and adaptable approach.

The Role:

We are looking for a Qualified Secondary Teacher to work across all subject specialisms on a long-term basis across various Secondary schools in Wakefield and surrounding areas. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to help change the lives of children. You will need a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and be able to create an inclusive, inspiring environment that supports pupils with their learning.

• You will be planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, to meet the needs of the children.
• Create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment that encourages a love for learning.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support children.
