Job summary

Matthew Moss High School, part of Watergrove Trust, is seeking a Second in Faculty for Computing, IT & Business. This significant middle leadership role will work alongside the Head of Faculty to develop GCSE and BTEC provision, creating a rigorous and engaging curriculum.

The successful candidate will lead curriculum content, assessments and strategies, driving improvement across the faculty. Permanent contract commencing January 2027; term-time hours.

We are seeking to appoint a Second in Faculty to work alongside the Head of Faculty for Computing, IT and Business. This is a significant middle leadership opportunity for an ambitious and highly effective practitioner who is ready to play a central role in developing and strengthening provision across the faculty with a focus on the continued development of GCSE & BTEC. We are seeking a candidate with strong subject knowledge, who is passionate about shaping an outstanding curriculum that is rigorous, relevant and engaging. The successful candidate will play a leading role in developing curriculum content, assessment approaches and strategies that inspire learners and maximise their potential.
