This is a temporary position as a Second Chef in a care home operated by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. The role involves assisting the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavorsome, and well-balanced menus while working with residents to tailor the menus to their preferences. The successful candidate will have a personable and warm approach, experience in helping lead and inspire a team, and a good understanding of nutrition and working with fresh seasonal food.

Main duties of the job

As a Second Chef at Barchester, you will have the chance to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks.
