The Vacancy

April Court is a 17-bedroom residential home providing care and support for adults with learning disabilities. We're looking for a dedicated Part-Time Cook to help make a real difference in our residents’ daily lives.
We canbe flexible whether you prefer to work during the morning or the afternoon, we can accommodate what suits you best in line with the needs of the home.
We do require one main cooked meal to be prepared each day from Sunday to Thursday. Meals will be prepared for either a 12:30pm or 5pm service depending on your chosen rota pattern.
About the Role:
You’ll work in a well-used kitchen; this is a lone working position. You will ensure that you work with a person-centred approach, ensuring that the independence, rights and choices of our residents are promoted. You will be preparing fresh, home-cooked meals each day. We pride ourselves on offering healthy, tasty food made from scratch.
