Job summary

Wheatley Homes South is seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to deliver high-quality painting and decorating services across our repair and void works in Stranraer and surrounding areas. You will work in both empty and tenanted properties, ensuring health and safety compliance and right-first-time delivery.

The ideal candidate is time-served, with 3–5 years of experience, capable of minor plaster patches, damp/mould remediation, and with good IT skills.

Qualifications

• Time served painter and decorator with 3–5 years' experience as a tradesperson.
• Ability to patch plaster and remediate damp and mould.
• Good IT skills and working knowledge of PDAs; COSHH awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide a reliable painting and decorating service for Wheatley Homes South in Repairs and Void work.
• Work in both empty and tenanted properties with a strong focus on customer excellence and right-first-time delivery.
