Job summary

JD GROUP is seeking a Seasonal Store Colleague in Scunthorpe to help deliver an outstanding festive shopping experience. You will assist customers with information and product queries, replenish shelves, and ensure stores look inviting and well-presented during peak trading.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and adherence to store procedures and health & safety guidelines while supporting busy periods and seasonal deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Support the achievement of store and team objectives through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
• Replenish stock and help ensure products are available and presented in line with company standards.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays and stock areas remain clean, organised and well maintained.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, stock handling and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required, to contribute to the successful operation of the store during peak trading periods.
