Job summary

Hotel Chocolat in the UK is seeking a Seasonal Sales Advisor to help customers during the Christmas peak. You will guide shoppers to find perfect gifts, engaging with them about products like Velvetiser, and ensure a welcoming, chocolate-filled experience in-store and in the café area.

You will also handle till transactions, assist with deliveries and replenishment, and keep the store looking pristine under busy, fast-paced conditions this festive season.

Responsibilities

• Immersing customers in the world of Hotel Chocolat and seasonal products.
• Helping customers choose Christmas gifts by identifying needs and checking allergens.
• Supporting store deliveries and replenishment as needed.
• Processing transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Maintaining high standards in-store and in café areas to wow customers.
• Preparing drinks and snacks in café areas (if applicable) and keeping the area clean.

We ask that you are reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the stores trading and delivery times and are comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll be doing:

• Immersing our customers in the world of Hotel Chocolat and a store full of inspirational seasonal products including the perfect gift – the Velvetiser.
• Ensuring our customers find the perfect Christmas gift for everyone on their shopping list by discovering your customers’ reason for their visit, asking them key questions to establish their buying needs and checking for allergens throughout your time with them.
• Supporting the store team with deliveries and replenishment as needed.
• Processing transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Maintaining a high standard in our store and café areas to WOW our customers.
• If your store has a café area, you will prepare hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks according to our guidelines and processes whilst keeping the e area immaculately clean.
• Supporting where you can to the success of your store and team.
