Job summary

Hotel Chocolat is seeking a Seasonal Sales Advisor to join during the festive peak. You will guide customers through our premium chocolate range, help them choose gifts, check allergens, and process sales with friendly, proactive service.

You’ll contribute to a vibrant store environment, support deliveries and stock, and enjoy staff discounts and development opportunities within our growing brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Reliability and flexibility to meet store needs during busy periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Immersing customers in Hotel Chocolat and seasonal products.
• Help customers find the perfect gift and advise on allergens.
• Assist with deliveries and replenishment as needed.
• Process transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Maintain high store and café standards to WOW customers.
• Prepare beverages and snacks in café areas if applicable.

What You’ll be doing:

• Immersing our customers in the world of Hotel Chocolat and a store full of inspirational seasonal products including the perfect gift – the Velvetiser.
• Ensuring our customers find the perfect Christmas gift for everyone on their shopping list by discovering your customers’ reason for their visit, asking them key questions to establish their buying needs and checking for allergens throughout your time with them.
• Supporting the store team with deliveries and replenishment as needed.
• Processing transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Maintaining a high standard in our store and café areas to WOW our customers.
• If your store has a café area, you will prepare hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks according to our guidelines and processes whilst keeping the area immaculately clean.
• Supporting where you can to the success of your store and team.
