Job summary

Hotel Chocolat is hiring a Seasonal Sales Advisor for our busiest time of year in Ellesmere Port. You will delight customers, help them find the perfect chocolate gifts, and support store operations during the festive period.

In this role you will handle transactions, assist with deliveries and stock, and maintain a welcoming store and cafe environment. A passion for chocolate and strong customer service are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Immerse customers in Hotel Chocolat and the seasonal store experience.
• Help customers find the perfect Christmas gift by asking questions and identifying buying needs.
• Support store team with deliveries and replenishment as needed.
• Process transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Maintain high standards in store and cafe areas to WOW customers.
• Prepare drinks/snacks in cafe areas if applicable and keep area clean.
• Support store and team to drive success.

We ask that you are reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the stores trading and delivery times and are comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll be doing:

• Immersing our customers in the world of Hotel Chocolat and a store full of inspirational seasonal products including the perfect gift – the Velvetiser.
• Ensuring our customers find the perfect Christmas gift for everyone on their shopping list by discovering your customers’ reason for their visit, asking them key questions to establish their buying needs and checking for allergens throughout your time with them.
• Supporting the store team with deliveries and replenishment as needed.
• Processing transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Maintaining a high standard in our store and café areas to WOW our customers.
• If your store has a café area, you will prepare hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks according to our guidelines and processes whilst keeping the e area immaculately clean.
• Supporting where you can to the success of your store and team.
