Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Operative for Parcelforce in Leeds during the Christmas season. You will load and unload parcels, move items through the warehouse, sort for delivery routes, and prepare trailers for drivers while following Royal Mail standards.

No prior experience is required, but flexibility, physical fitness, and reliability are essential to succeed in long shifts on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; however, experience in similar environments is a bonus.
• Flexibility to switch between tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).
• Physical fitness and ability to manage long shifts on your feet.
• Motivation, reliability, and readiness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parcels.
• Move parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Sort parcels to correct delivery route and prepare trailers for drivers and onward transport.
• Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling specific items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.
