The Mill Adventure Base, operated by The Methodist Church in Britain, seeks a Seasonal Instructor for a fixed-term post from March to October 2027. The role centers on leading outdoor learning for children and young people, carrying out PPE checks, setting up activities and keeping the site well maintained.

Applicants must hold a current national governing body award in an outdoor activity, have experience in adventure/recreation, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Current, valid national governing body award in at least one outdoor activity.
• Experience in adventurous or recreational activity sector.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Adaptability to changing circumstances and participant needs.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging outdoor learning sessions for individuals and groups.
• Apply health and safety best practices to keep participants secure.
• Conduct PPE checks.
• Assist with the structure of activities.
• Maintain the site so it is safe and enjoyable to use.
