Job summary

eXPD8 is seeking a Seasonal Retail Merchandiser to support Tesco Pinchington Newbury DC and other high street retailers in the RG14 7HB area. You will help ensure shelves are well-stocked, displays are visually appealing, and promotions are clearly communicated.

You’ll work as part of a field-based merchandising team, with responsibilities including restocking, setting up displays, and following health and safety guidelines. A full UK driving license is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
• Able to commit to the listed hours and shifts.
• Comfortable using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions.

Responsibilities

• Restock and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Set up promotional displays and signage communicating prices, discounts and offers.
• Adhere to merchandising standards, store policies and health and safety guidance.
• Provide accurate feedback and photos to client account teams via survey app.

Are you looking to make some extra cash this autumn/winter? Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good?

If so, we're hiring a Seasonal Retail Merchandiser in the RG14 7HB area.

You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working in a range of high street retailers on behalf of exciting household name brands. You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

About the role:

This role will be based in Tesco Pinchington Newbury Dc.

Weekly hours:

10 hours

Shift pattern:

• Monday
• Thursday
• Friday
• Saturday

Flexible however work must be completed by 18:00.

End date:

1 January 2027

How you'll deliver excellence:

• You'll restock and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• You'll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
• You'll provide accurate and timely feedback and photos to our client account teams, via our survey application, as the eyes and ears in the stores!

Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service

• Able to commit to the hours listed above
• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients
• Are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks
• Be comfortable with a bit of manual handling! You'll need to move and arrange our products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
• A full UK driving license and access to a car is a bonus
