Job summary

Royal Mail Group is recruiting a Seasonal Mail Sorter at Peterborough Mail Centre. No prior warehouse or mail sorting experience is required; just bring enthusiasm and we'll provide the rest. This temporary Christmas role offers shifts with pay rates that vary by pattern: Earlies, Lates and Nights.

You will help unload, move and sort mail and parcels in a busy centre, with options for weekends and varied hours. Successful applicants must be 18 or over for night shifts.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse, mail or sorting experience required.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to stand for long periods and handle items up to 11 kg.

Responsibilities

• Unload letters and parcels from delivery lorries.
• Move mail around sorting centres and warehouses safely.
• Help sort letters and parcels quickly and accurately.
