Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Seasonal Mail Sorter at Malton Delivery Office for the festive period. You’ll help process letters, gifts and parcels as part of a busy Christmas operation. Shift patterns are available, including late shifts from 14:00 to 22:00, with pay of £15.14 per hour.

No previous warehouse or mail sorting experience is required; bring enthusiasm and reliability, and you’ll be trained on the rest.

Qualifications

• No previous warehouse or mail sorting experience required.
• Positive attitude and team spirit.
• Organised and able to work independently in a busy environment.
• Able to be on your feet, push/pull trolleys up to 250kg with wheels and handle items up to 11kg.

Responsibilities

• Unload letters and parcels from delivery lorries.
• Move mail safely around sorting centres and warehouses.
• Help sort letters and parcels quickly and accurately.
