Job summary

Searcys, the historic UK caterer, seeks a Kitchen Porter for the Christmas period. You will wash dishes, keep kitchen areas clean, and support the events team during a busy festive schedule, with mentoring from seasoned staff.

Contract runs 22 November to 31 December at £12.71 per hour. Ideal candidates communicate well, manage time effectively, and thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, wash up, and back of house areas
• Wash & correctly store crockery, cutlery, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Safely operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment
• Removing rubbish and recycling, keeping waste areas clean
• Adhering to all health & safety and food hygiene regulations
• Supporting the wider kitchen and events team to ensure smooth service throughout the Christmas period
