Worthington Ecological Consultancy is seeking a Seasonal Ecologist to join our field teams in Brighton. The role focuses on field surveys, data collection, and hands-on ecological work across protected species and habitats.

You will conduct habitat surveys, assist with assessments and reporting, and contribute to projects for development and planning. A driving license and the ability to work flexible hours are essential, with permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in ecological surveying is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work unsocial hours and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct protected species and habitat surveys.
• Assist with ecological assessments and technical reporting.
• Support project teams on development and planning projects.
• Contribute to field surveys for bats, reptiles, amphibians, birds and other protected fauna.
