To meet growing project workload and help design and apply new approaches to work, they are looking for an enthusiastic Ecologist to work with their London and South East team.

They offer the opportunity to contribute to nationally significant and high-profile projects, many of which have won awards for biodiversity enhancements, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

Their ecology team also won the inaugural CIEEM Large-Scale Consultancy of the Year Award in 2018 and has been highly commended in the same category each year thereafter.

Your New Role

• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Planning, coordinating, and undertaking field surveys; analysing and interpreting survey results.
• Ecological Clerk of Works.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• A degree in ecology or a closely related field (other equivalent higher education qualifications considered).
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), with membership costs covered.
• Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC) Level 3 or above (desirable), or demonstrated equivalent skills.
• Strong protected species survey skills.
• Level 1 or Level 2 survey licence for bats (desirable).
• Protected species survey licences are desirable but not essential.
• Working knowledge and experience of UK Habitat survey, habitat condition assessments, and the Defra Biodiversity Metric. Experience in Biodiversity Net Gain assessments is desirable.
• Strong collaborative skills to interface with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• A full UK/EEC driving licence.
