Job summary

dnata Catering UK is seeking a General Assistant in Glasgow for a seasonal role until 31 October 2026. You will contribute to timely delivery of catering and goods for airline customers, supporting various scheduling requirements and working across production, equipment, wash, and stock-control areas.

The role offers on-site dining benefits, parking, and opportunities for apprenticeship learning. Prior experience in food handling and a willingness to work in a cold environment are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Be able to handle pork and alcohol products.
• Be prepared to stand for long periods of time and have good mobility.
• Be prepared to work in a chilled environment.
• Have a basic understanding of English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate food.
• Handle packed food goods.
• Pack amenity kits and flight condiments.
• Stack shelves and rotate stock.
• Wash and clean equipment and areas.
• Inspect goods for damages and ensure paperwork is complete.
