Are you an experienced freight forwarder who thrives on delivering exceptional client service and operational precision? We're looking for a sea freight import coordinator to join our dynamic Ocean Imports team. In this role, you'll manage sea freight import shipments from origin to final delivery, collaborating with clients, suppliers, and global agents to ensure a smooth process. If you're commercially savvy, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full sea freight import process, from origin to delivery.
• Liaise with overseas offices and agents to coordinate shipments.
• Negotiate rates with suppliers to maximize value for clients.
• Select contracts and carriers suited to client needs.
• Quote clients and monitor market rates.
• Provide clients with regular shipment updates.
• Ensure accurate documentation for customs clearance.
• Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and hauliers.
• Resolve delays and issues promptly.
• Manage invoicing and cost files with accurate margins.
• Attend client visits with the sales team to build relationships.
