GlobalLogic seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to lead AI-native testing efforts across large-scale digital transformation projects. You will design testing strategies, generate test cases from requirements, and ensure coverage keeps pace with AI-enhanced delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong quality engineering background across unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on with Claude Code (or equivalent agentic CLI tooling) and building subagents for coverage analysis.
• Experience with modern test frameworks: Jest, Playwright, Cypress, pytest.
• Understanding of AI-native SDLC practices for AI-generated or augmented code.
• Experience with test architecture at scale and maintaining fast feedback loops.
• Ability to coach engineers on testing practices and shift quality left.
• Comfort assessing unfamiliar codebases for high-impact quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assess the engineering team’s testing maturity during discovery and identify gaps in coverage and bottlenecks.
• Design and implement AI-native testing strategies to generate test cases and analyze coverage.
• Build Claude Code skills and subagents for automated test generation and data management.
• Define quality gates within AI-native SDLC to enable fast automated feedback.
• Embed testing best practices through pairing, code reviews, and hands-on demos.
• Create reusable testing patterns and configurations for cross-team reuse.
• Ensure AI-generated code meets quality standards and testing pace keeps up with delivery.
