Our well-known health and wellbeing client is currently undergoing an exciting digital transformation and is looking to recruit their first Scrum Master, offering a salary of up to £67,900. The role involves one day in the office and four days working from home.
You will be an expert in Scrum and other agile methodologies, responsible for teaching, implementing, and ensuring adherence to Scrum values and rituals. Your main duties include driving delivery within the digital team, which is allocated to up to two squads. You will ensure each squad functions effectively as a Scrum team, with all members collaborating to deliver high-quality, iterative outputs. As Scrum Master, you will monitor team performance and coach/support team members to improve. Additionally, you will track and communicate the team’s velocity, and support squads in becoming more T-shaped to enhance their velocity further. You will chair various agile rituals, including sprint reviews and retrospectives.
To be considered, candidates must demonstrate knowledge, skills, and experience in the Scrum Master discipline. Proven delivery experience in a complex IT environment with a high volume of change is essential. Candidates should also have evidence of successfully embedding Scrum values and practices in organizations that have previously operated in waterfall methodologies.
