Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a scrub practitioner to join the perioperative team in obstetrics, gynaecology or colorectal surgery. You will work closely with surgeons and theatres to deliver safe, patient-centred care.

Applicants should hold appropriate NMC/HCPC registration with scrub experience, and demonstrate commitment to continuing education within a supportive NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Appropriate NMC/HCPC Registration.
• RN1, RN2 General Nursing Posts/ODP.
• Evidence of continuing education or development for more experienced Band 5 nurses.
• Degree / Diploma (Desirable).
• NMC Recognised mentorship qualification or willingness to work towards within 18 months.

You must be a registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with scrub experience in obstetrics, gynaecology or colorectal surgery ready to work with a motivated, enthusiastic team
