Job summary

Nuffield Health North Staffs Hospital is seeking a Theatre Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP) to join our scrub team. You’ll be registered with the relevant body and bring post-registration theatre experience to help us deliver high standards of care in a busy environment.

You’ll work with a skilled team using state-of-the-art technology and help develop junior staff, while ensuring patient safety and excellent clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HPC).
• Post-registration experience in theatre scrub.
• Orthopaedic scrub experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced team in a busy theatre setting.
• Manage varied orthopaedic scrub cases.
• Assist with patient care before and after procedures.
• Support junior team members and maintain safety standards.
• Utilise state-of-the-art technology and facilities.
• Contribute to high standards of care.

As a Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our North Staffs Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC or HPC. You bring a passion for high standards, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience. You’re a focused, flexible and motivated team worker.

As a Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will:
