Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an independent worker with excellent organisational skills to join our screening administration team. This fixed-term post supports the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme, managing the admin staff, monitoring waiting lists, and ensuring adherence to Trust standards across Norfolk and parts of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of screening programme administrative staff; resolve issues as they arise.
• Provide cover for Programme Manager during annual leave and sickness; oversee day-to-day operations.
• Monitor waiting lists in line with Trust policies and Bowel Cancer Screening targets.
• Maintain health equity audit and action log in liaison with Programme Manager/Lead Specialist Screening Practitioner.
• Collaborate with national bowel screening team, other programmes, and GPs for regional health promotion events.
