Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Programme Administrator to support the Bowel Cancer Screening programme across MK and Buckinghamshire. The role involves on-site administration, data entry, packing patient materials, and coordinating with Endoscopy and clinical staff.

The successful candidate will work across MKUH and partner trusts, travel to sites as required, and contribute to timely patient care and data accuracy within a busy NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced administrator with ability to work in busy NHS environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare packs for positive assessment clinics on BCSS and local systems (eCARE/CareFlow).
• Schedule assessment clinics across all sites; respond to fluctuations in demand.
• Prepare Endoscopy packs; book patients and provide details to Endoscopy; scan packs as needed.
• Coordinate patient appointments across BCSS and ensure referral pathways are followed.
