An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Health Visitor to join their team in Enfield. You will be a registered nurse/midwife with a minimum of 12 months post-qualified experience, a passion for public health (Health Visiting), and a desire to make a difference. The Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Health Visitor training may be suitable for you. As a Health Visitor (SCPHN) in Enfield, your responsibilities will include home visits and leading groups for parents, enabling you to make a real difference to children, families, and communities. You will play a key role in developing the Healthy Child Programme, addressing social exclusion, deprivation, and public health challenges.

This application is for an NHS-sponsored, fixed 12-month salaried placement with Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Successful applicants will be guided to apply for a full-time, one-year place at the University of Hertfordshire. Applicants must have previously studied at least at level 6.
Participants must attend university course dates and practice placement days in accordance with university regulations to fulfill the SCPHN program requirements.
Health Visiting and School Nursing teams belong to the Enfield 0-19 Children’s Community Service, commissioned by the Local Authority (Public Health), within North Middlesex University NHS Trust. The service is based at The Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, with good public transport links, including nearby train stations.
There are four Health Visiting Teams and one School Nurse team covering all of Enfield, working collaboratively to deliver "The Healthy Child Programme". The teams include health visitors, school nurses, early years practitioners, staff nurses, and assistants. We emphasize partnership working with GPs, midwives, schools, social care, early help, and voluntary organizations to ensure optimal outcomes for children and young people.
