Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking an SCL Shift Engineer for a major tunnelling project in London. The position runs for up to 18 months on a market-leading tier 1 joint venture, with opportunities to work as part of a specialist SCL engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in tunnelling, a Civil Engineering degree, and a valid CSCS card. Responsibilities include RAMS/ITP preparation, site set-up and HSE compliance, and regular progress meetings.

• Degree qualifies in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with a recognised tier 1 contractor.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• A valid CSCS card.

• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design team.
• Preparing and writing RAMS and ITP's.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety.
• Planning and programming of the works 3 weeks ahead.
• Attending weekly progress meetings.

Do you have Sprayed Concrete Lining experience? Do you think you could handle working in a fast-paced environment?

I'm looking for an SCL Shift Engineer to work on a major tunneling project in the Capital of England. This position is working on a market leading tier 1 JV and will continue for up to 18-24 months. The selected candidate will have previous experience working in a tunneling environment and being a part of a team of SCL Engineers.

Location: London

Contract length: 18 months

Day rate: dependant on experience

Roles and responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Sub Agent
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design team
• Preparing and writing RAMS and ITP's
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety
• Planning and programming of the works 3 weeks ahead
• Attending weekly progress meetings
