Position: Scientist II

Department: Regulatory In Vitro ADME

FLSA status: Exempt

Location: Exton, PA

Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 per year

Job Overview:

Scientist II within our Regulatory In Vitro ADME Laboratory team in Exton, PA plays an integral role in growing the operations and customer base by supporting drug metabolism (DM), ADME, and Drug-Drug interaction (DDI) studies. The Scientist II will work in a team-based environment to execute the studies, and their timely completion.

Additional tasks:

  • Function as analyst for DM and DDI studies.
  • Design, and prepare ADME/DM/DDI protocols, SOPs, and procedures.
  • Perform drug metabolism and DDI studies, evaluate and interpret the experimental data.
  • Conduct studies according to appropriate study protocols/plans.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of room and instruments.
  • Review and comment on draft protocols.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking individuals who have strong communication skills with attention to detail who thrive in fast-paced environments.

  • Master's or advanced degree in biology, biochemistry or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of industry experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with in vitro ADME assays, cell biology and maintenance, cytotoxicity assays, molecular biology experiments like RNA extraction, cDNA preparation and PCR experiments.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently, ensuring critical issues are addressed promptly while maintaining a high
    quality of work.
