Oxoid Remel Microbiology in Basingstoke is looking for a laboratory-based scientist to perform investigations on technical projects, support culture media and manufacturing processes, and help drive quality improvements across the site.
You will work on Quality Notifications, CAPAs, batch-related investigations, and small projects while collaborating with colleagues from multiple departments. A 0–2 year microbiology lab background is preferred.

You will work in a team of scientists on the laboratory investigation of technical projects, including, Quality Notifications, batch failure investigations, material qualifications and Incidents/CAPAs. The jobholder is jointly responsible for the support of the culture media and associated products range and the respective manufacturing processes. This includes dehydrated Culture Media (DCM), Raw Materials, Freeze Dried Supplements (FDS) and Liquid Fill products manufactured in Basingstoke, and prepared media manufactured in Perth and Wesel.
