Job summary

Quantum Scholars is seeking experienced Science Tutors to work with learners in Wokingham and surrounding areas. These are in-person tutoring opportunities and are not online roles.

Tutors will provide personalised Science tuition to learners, including those with SEND/SEMH needs, building trust, adapting teaching, and monitoring progress. DBS checks and safeguarding adherence are required, with right to work in the UK confirmed.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in Science.
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational, tutoring or support setting.
• Experience working with students with SEND and/or SEMH needs is essential.
• Ability to adapt teaching and learning approaches to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one or small-group tuition across Science.
• Plan and deliver engaging, accessible, personalised lessons.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback and maintain communication with parents/carers and other professionals.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of children and young people.
