Job summary

Liberty Academy in Hull is seeking a Science Technician to support science lessons, coordinate and maintain teaching areas and equipment, and prepare resources under teacher supervision. This maternity cover role is 37 hours per week during term time.

You will work with the science team to ensure resources are ready for lessons, contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing, and benefit from development opportunities and pension provisions. Interviews will be scheduled during the notice period.

Job description

We are looking to appoint a Science Technician for 37 Hours per Week, on a Term Time only basis to join our team at Liberty Academy to provide maternity cover.

This role will work under the supervision and direction of teachers to support learning by providing technical assistance, through the coordination, preparation and maintenance of teaching areas and equipment for students. This will include assisting to prepare resources, materials and equipment for science lessons as directed.

Job Details

Hours of Work: 37 Hours per Week, Term Time Only

Position Type: Maternity Cover until 12/04/2027 or until the return of the substantive post holder.
