Prospero Teaching are looking for a Science Technician to work in a secondary academy in Wigan for a long term position, to start as soon as possible.

The school will require a talented and enthusiastic Science Technician to join this flagship department of our vibrant, ambitious and caring school. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Position – Science Technician
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – £80 per day
• Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a UK school as a Science Technician (desirable)
• Hold a Scientific degree
• Up to date safeguarding training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
• Up to date prevent awareness training in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide at least two professional child related references
