Trinity CE High School seeks a reliable and enthusiastic Science Technician to support science education from Key Stages 3 to 5. Candidates should have a science background with laboratory experience, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to operate safely within a school environment. The role offers a chance to work in a highly rated secondary school and contribute positively to students' learning experiences.
Contract term: Permanent
Contract type: Term-time only plus 5 days, 40 hours per week
We currently offer three scheduling options for this position to accommodate the most suitable candidates:
Scale: Grade 4, point 7-11 (£25,584-£27,269 FTE), pro rata starting salary of £25,150.
This is a great opportunity to come and work in our very highly rated secondary school in central Manchester. We are looking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Science Technician to join our team. The person we are looking for will be an excellent communicator, with initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude. They will be part of a dedicated team enabling our main school and Sixth Form to make a real difference to the lives of young people in Manchester. Every day will be different and their work will support our science team and the outcomes of students studying on science courses over Key Stages 3 to 5.
