Polam Hall School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Science Technician on a part-time basis to commence in September.
The role:
We seek a well-organised and knowledgeable Science Technician who is enthusiastic and passionate about Science being taught in schools. The successful candidate will provide practical support to staff teaching Science at KS3 and both Combined Science and Biology GCSE at KS4, with AQA specifications at GCSE. Knowledge of the curriculum and experience working in a school or similar environment will be beneficial. The role involves the safe, efficient, and accurate storage, provision, and preparation of resources for science lessons according to an agreed timetable.
Science is part of our energetic and exciting Maths and Science Faculty, supported by a collaborative team. We have achieved significant improvements in student outcomes in Science and Maths and aim to strengthen this team. Our faculty is ambitious and forward-looking, striving to develop students into future scientists and mathematicians.
