You will prepare practical lessons, maintain equipment, and keep laboratories safe, organised and well-stocked, while supporting teaching staff and students. This role suits a graduate or experienced technician seeking long-term prospects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a school science department or laboratory is desirable.
• A science-related degree or relevant qualification would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Preparing and setting up equipment, materials and resources for practical science lessons.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or experienced technician looking to support practical science education in a busy secondary school environment, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching staff and students across the Science department. You will be responsible for preparing practical lessons, maintaining equipment and ensuring laboratories remain safe, organised and fully stocked.

Working behind the scenes, you will help create an engaging learning environment that enables students to get the most from their science education.

Key Responsibilities
