Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust in Tees Valley is seeking a part-time Teacher of Science for the Alternative Provision at Eston. The role focuses on KS3/4 students with additional behavioural and emotional needs and involves delivering the science curriculum while supporting wellbeing.

You will work with Teaching Assistants, Hub Coordinators and the Leadership team to help students re-engage with mainstream education and improve attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with Teaching Assistants, Hub Coordinators and leadership.
• Experience in supporting students with social, emotional or behavioural needs.
• Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver science curriculum for KS3/KS4 students in the Alternative Provision.
• Support attendance, behaviour for learning and student wellbeing.
• Work with a small team to re-engage students in mainstream education.
