Lift Kingswood seeks a passionate Science Teacher to join Kingswood Academy and help strengthen our exceptional provision. You’ll plan engaging lessons, track progress and provide feedback, collaborating with staff and parents to meet every student’s needs.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS or be training toward QTS by September 2026
• Have a genuine passion for teaching science and a love for the subject

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach lessons that engage students and build understanding
• Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND, high ability, and EAL
• Use assessment and feedback to help students reflect on their progress and close any gaps
• Build a positive classroom culture with clear routines and high expectations for behaviour
• Work with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create the best outcomes for every student
