Job summary

Harrogate College is recruiting a Teacher to join the science department to deliver BTEC L3 qualifications to 16-19 year olds and Access to Health Science for adults. The role focuses on delivering industry-aligned teaching, assessing progress, and supporting learners across diverse settings, including work placements and college-based days.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building with students and employers.
• Able to engage diverse learners and support progression in education and childcare.
• Solid understanding of roles within Early Years and Teaching Assistant sectors.

• Design and deliver innovative, industry-aligned lessons using digital and traditional resources.
• Implement robust assessment strategies with constructive feedback to drive achievement.

• Create an inspiring, inclusive classroom environment.
