TeacherActive is working with a welcoming secondary school in Essex (CO15) seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to start 1st October. You will teach Chemistry up to GCSE with potential KS5, plan engaging lessons and use assessment data to monitor progress.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Chemistry Teacher on a full-time, permanent basis from 1st October. The successful Chemistry Teacher will teach students up to and including GCSE level, with potential opportunities to teach KS5, planning engaging lessons, using assessment data to monitor progress and maintaining effective classroom management.

The successful Chemistry Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS
• Experience teaching Chemistry within a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the Chemistry curriculum up to GCSE level
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to engage and motivate students
• A professional understanding of inclusion and strategies for engaging learners
• A strong commitment to safeguarding children and young people
