Job summary

CER Education Recruitment is partnering with a Stockton academy to recruit a dedicated Science teacher. The role is full-time and fixed-term, starting January 2027, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will teach Science to KS3/KS4, plan engaging lessons, and support students to reach their potential within a collaborative team. Competitive daily rates and bonus schemes are offered.

Qualifications

• UK QTS is required.
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• ECTs welcomed or considered.

Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed term

Pay: £140 to £245 per day

CER Education is working exclusively with a well-regarded academy in Stockton, seeking a passionate and committed Science teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school with excellent leadership, strong systems, and a supportive staff culture. The role starts in January 2027, is full-time and will run until the Easter break in the first instance. The role is an open vacancy so has potential to become a permanent position, for the right candidate.

Requirements

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
