Science Teacher - Secondary School

Daily Rate: £150 - £220

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 within this Ashton secondary school
  • Planning and conducting safe, practical laboratory experiments that enhance conceptual understanding
  • Maintaining strong behaviour management as a subject specialist Science Teacher
  • Working with the science faculty in Ashton to monitor pupil progress, assess work, and prepare learners for GCSE assessments
  • Creating an inclusive learning environment for pupils across the Ashton setting while adhering strictly to safeguarding standards

Requirements or Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised Secondary Science teaching credential
  • Experience delivering General Science up to KS4 (specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed)
  • Confident lab management, safety awareness, and classroom presence
  • Commitment to joining a dedicated team in Ashton as an active Science Teacher
