New Directions Group is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons for KS3 and KS4 in St Helens. The role runs from January to June 2027, four days per week, within a supportive school community that values high-quality teaching and student achievement.

You will plan, assess and adapt lessons to support diverse learners, maintaining strong behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment. A commitment to safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A passion for Science and student achievement.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

We're working with a secondary school in St Helens seeking an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, build positive relationships and encourage students to excel in Science.

This part-time position, running from January to June 2027, offers the chance to work with students across KS3 and KS4 in a welcoming environment that values high-quality teaching, collaboration and student achievement.

The Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
