Job summary

The Education Network is recruiting a Science Teacher for a Coventry secondary school to start September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.

You will plan and deliver KS3–KS4 science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, assess progress, and foster a positive, inclusive classroom. Must have QTS or be an ECT, with a proven ability to manage classrooms; salary £175–£250 per day.

A secondary school in Coventry is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join its successful Science department from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.

Working within a supportive department, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all learners are encouraged to achieve their full potential. You will maintain high expectations for behaviour, participation, and attainment while contributing to the continued success of the Science faculty.

The Candidate

• Hold QTS or be an ECT
• Have experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
• Be confident delivering lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment
• Have a genuine passion for science and inspiring young people to achieve their full potential
