Job summary

Fulbrook School is seeking a passionate Subject Leader for science to deliver high-quality lessons, produce teaching plans, and drive curriculum development across the science department. You will coordinate the science team, identify and address underachievement, monitor pupil development as a form tutor, and help safeguard and support students in line with school policies.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality teaching plans and supporting resources; deliver high-quality lessons in science; lead the development of a great curriculum with engaging learning and formative assessments; to secure the highest levels of learner interest and achievement; to monitor and support the overall development of pupils as a form tutor.
• Responsible for the strategic development of the department including coordinating and managing the work of the science team, taking a lead role in identifying any underachievement and ensuring appropriate strategies are put in place to address this across the school.
