Supply Secondary Science Teacher – Flexible Teaching Opportunities

Location: Shropshire 4
Salary: Competitive daily rates ranging from £150 to £250, depending on experience and qualifications
Contract Type: Full-time, part-time, and ad-hoc supply roles available
Start Date: Immediate and upcoming placements

We are looking for qualified and enthusiastic Science Teachers to join our network of schools across Shropshire. Whether you’re interested in short-term assignments or longer-term placements, we offer flexible opportunities to suit your schedule and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

  • Follow provided lesson plans and adapt them to meet students’ needs.

  • Manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies.

  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their work.

  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in a Science-related subject.

  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary level is desirable.

  • Strong classroom management skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments.

  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
