Marchant Recruitment is supporting an Independent School in Sutton, London to recruit a practical Science Technician for the busy Science Department. The role involves preparing equipment, chemicals and materials for lessons and ensuring laboratories are ready for classes.

You will monitor stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, maintain equipment and help with safe demonstrations and investigations, reporting faults as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a science laboratory is advantageous.
• Organisational skills and attention to safety.
• Ability to support teaching staff during practical sessions.

Responsabilités

• Set up experiments and prepare equipment, chemicals and materials for practical lessons.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory storage and ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• Support teachers with demonstrations and investigations.
