Job summary

Step Into Teaching in Coventry is seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to support a secondary school. You will assist with delivering science lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 and provide targeted support to pupils.

A 2:2 or above in a science degree is required; strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive attitude are essential. The role runs Monday to Friday full-time starting September 2026, with weekly pay of £500–£530.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in a science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
• Must hold a 2:2 or above Hons degree in science.
• Desire to pursue a teaching career is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
