The Role
This full-time Science Academic Coach position is ideal for a graduate who wants to develop their skills in the classroom and support pupils with their progress in Science. Working closely with the Science department, the successful candidate will support pupils in lessons and lead targeted interventions across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
You’ll help students prepare for assessments, reinforce key concepts, and build confidence in their scientific understanding. This role offers an excellent foundation for a future career in teaching.
The Candidate
Applicants should hold a degree in a Science-related subject—Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Natural Sciences. A strong academic background, including good A-level and GCSE results, is essential. The school is looking for someone organised, enthusiastic, and keen to contribute to pupil progress. Experience working with young people is desirable, particularly in educational or mentoring settings.
